World superstar Loves Only You returns to Sha Tin fresh off a brilliant success in the G1 Ballydoyle Cup Filly & Mare Turf (2200m) at Del Mar Racecourse earlier this month and G1 FWD QEII Cup (2000m) triumph at Sha Tin Racecourse in April. Lei Papale and Hishi Iguazu join her from Japan, the former is unbeaten over 2000m and is a one-time G1 winner having claimed the Osaka Hai (2000m). She will embark on her first overseas voyage for trainer Tomokazu Takano.

Badel in box seat for second LONGINES IJC tilt

Looking to seal his place in the 2021 LONGINES International Jockey Championship (IJC), Alexis Badel has armed himself with six chances on (Wednesday, 24 November) fixture at Happy Valley as he hopes to suppress all possibility of a last-minute snatch-and-grab by Karis Teetan. Leading the Mauritian by three wins (18 to 15) this season, Badel is in pole position to seal the coveted spot and join the 12-rider roster for next month HK$800,000 challenge on Wednesday, 8th December at the city circuit.
